This i know: There is power and value in a well-designed website.
It's been quite an adventure customizing and developing professional websites for 13+ years. My experience, knowledge and services have become as versatile and unique as my client-base.
In the wake of the economic crash in late 2008, it was time to step in and help provide for my family. However, i was then a full-time mom, having "retired" a few years back. What's a mom to do? The only thing i knew: website development and Girl-boss. i picked up the several years of website development experience and education i already had, learned the new stuff, and put it all to work! Southern Creative Design was born.
Over the next few years, by word of mouth mostly, an army of friends, acquaintances, and church members became my first clients, allowing me to deepen and polish my skills, invest in their visions and businesses, and build a clientele only God could give. It’s been an awesome ride working with everyone from boutiques & floral designers to churches & restaurants. They have all so graciously believed in me —
and i believe in you! Let’s make this happen!
- floral designers
- event / wedding designers & planners
- golf courses
- retail stores
- online-only stores
- community organizations
- political campaigns
- industrial services & solutions
- event venues
- real-estate developers
First and foremost, i serve people. Over the years, i've had the privilege of working with all types of personalities, visions, timeframes, budgets & requirements. What a gift to now call many of my clients "friends." You see, it starts with passion for them & what they do. A desire for them (and you) to succeed working at what they & you love. Encouragement: it's the thing I love doing most through my work and words with each person I collaborate with.
Ask anyone, and they will tell you part of my unwritten motto is: "Work the project, not the clock." A recovering perfectionist, i do not check the proverbial "finished" box until a project is just right and meets ( read "exceeds" ) expectations. Above and beyond with integrity - yes, that's how it should be!
I'm excited you are interested in what we offer and would love the opportunity to partner with you. Thanks for spending a little of your time checking out who i am. In case you're curious, you can find a few more facts + favorites on down the page.

GEEKY ME - A FEW QUIRKY FACTS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT FIND INTERESTING
Why you say? Well apparently i had a really obnoxious laugh at some point in life. My husband's buddy said it sounded like Marty Moose from National Lampoon's Vacation. "Marty" was eventually dropped and "Moose" i became. Term of endearment, right?!
FAVORITE MOVIE: "Titanic."
Yes, i'm a chick-flick, romance-lovin', sappy sanguine kind of girl. "The Notebook" is a close second.
DREAM JOB: Singing
i'm not all about getting on The Voice or anything, but it's something i've loved since i came out of the womb.
GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT: My Marriage
An unconventional beginning, 3 kids, and lots of grace + mercy later, we love each other fiercely and are committed to the end.
WHAT I WATCH ON NETFLIX: "Friends"
"Friends." Every last episode. Nothing has ever been able to beat it!
WHICH WORD DO YOU MOST OVERUSE? "Really"
Mostly in the form of a question toward my two teenagers. Although you can hear it often when i'm talking to myself too.
FAVORITE EMOJI: Flushed Face
The wide open eyes kind of say it all for me.
"The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozer
Currently "So Will I (100 Billion X)" by Hillsong United.
WHY DO YOU USE LOWER-CASE "i's" ALOT?
i'm glad you asked. i'm the little "i." God is the big "I." (see favorite quote)
